Well, hello there! My name is Kimberly Oden and I am a married mama of four men. Ever since I can remember I have loved words and order. Listening, writing, and speaking words of encouragement are hard-wired into my DNA, as is a deep desire for organization and an innate ability to help make it happen.
I recently helped co-found Beacon Life, a ministry aimed to ignite a movement of awakened parents by by shedding light on current culture through a Biblical Worldview. I have also co-founded hybrid schools in the Atlanta area, formerly Legacy Community Academy, now called Valor Christian Academy.
I am currently writing a devotional I hope to have published by summer of 2022. You can read some of my personal stories of revelation and restoration on my blog page.
Lastly, I created S i f t , an organization consulting business, as an outlet to help others remove un-essentials in their lives so that what is most important might remain. Many friends call me an efficiency expert :) My aim is to help others create new-found time and space so that the essential, important things would begin to operate as boulder-like priorities in their lives.
PERSONAL VISION: My personal vision is to steward well own my time, talent and treasures in an effort to help individuals, families, and organizations create a simplicity of life that allows for the intentional stewardship of theirs. . . to help restore intention . . .whether its through organizing, writing or speaking.
AVOCATIONS: Spending time with my husband, Markel, and four sons, Talor, Tommas, Oliver & Isaiah, is a top priority and anything that requires organization, structure and strategic planning brings me pure joy. I also am a life-long fitness enthusiast who loves to learn. A good chunk of my life has been spent intentionally educating our sons, as well as writing, speaking and consulting in the areas of education, family, strategic planning, administrative support, organization and simply being a mama and wife who is ever learning...
PERSONAL PROFILE: I am a focused, disciplined, and goal-oriented gal who absolutely values and implements order, systems, and structure into everything I attempt. As a strategic thinker, I enjoy a track record of achieving order by sorting through the clutter of a problem and discovering the most efficient and effective solution. Excelling in the proficient and economical completion of tasks, I thrive behind-the-scenes, supporting the success of an overall mission by attending to the fine details. I am a deep thinker and sympathetic listener with excellent written, administrative and organizational skills. I have been told that I am a quiet, conscientious, individual respected for my firm principles and ability to follow clear convictions for the common good. Myers Briggs Type: INFJ
LIFE VERSES:
But test everything; hold fast what is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
Isaiah 50:4
Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you.
Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.
Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:11
“The greatest ideas
are the simplest.”
~ William Golding, Lord of the Flies
